About ProKnots
ProKnots began in April 2020 as a hobby. Our founder, Mridula, started knotting macramé pieces at home in Bengaluru – a wall hanging here, a plant hanger there. Friends loved them, and soon they were asking for more: bulk orders for events, gifts for Christmas, and pieces for their own homes.
What started as a hobby slowly grew into a business. Today, ProKnots is a Bengaluru-based brand making handmade macramé swings, wall hangings, shelves, chandeliers, cradles and dreamcatchers for homes across India.
Counting our retail and bulk orders, we have now made and delivered more than 5,000 swings – and every one of them was knotted by hand.
Made by Our Own Team
We don’t resell – we make our own products. Our core team of 10 people in Bengaluru designs, knots, finishes and packs every order. We also work with a network of women artisans in villages, who knot many of our pieces from home. Every order you place supports their skill and their income.
We use strong cotton cords and check every piece for strength and finish before it leaves our workshop. Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike.
Designed for Your Space
A macramé swing can turn an empty corner into your favourite spot in the house. Our chair swings suit balconies, larger swings work well in living rooms, our twin and sofa swings seat two or three, and our bed swings are made for lounging.
Not sure which one fits? Message us on WhatsApp with your space and we’ll help you choose. We also make custom swings in your choice of size, thread colour and cushion colour. You can also browse all our macramé swings by size and colour.
